Log the Vlog

I was looking through all of my old photos and videos recently, and I found a bunch of these goofy videos. I decided to post just a handful of them. Honest confession about myself, I am actually extremely camera shy. I don't like feeling like I'm being recorded or watched. Mostly because any time I've ever watched a recording of myself, I acted like an absolute dork. So am I somewhat embarrassed watching these videos? Absolutely. So I care so much now? Not really.
I've realized that the reason I made these vlogs was mainly for me. So that I can see how far I've come, so that I can remember my experiences vividly. Now months later, I am so glad that I made these videos, and I wish I had made more. This is my commitment to myself to start vlogging again. Whether I post them or not is irrelevant, but I want to have videos to look back on and reminisce.
I don't know why I stopped making vlogs. Even when I got a gopro, I didn't use it much. I guess I felt like my life wasn't worth recording unless it was something out of the ordinary. I'm now aware of how wrong I was. Every day is a new adventure, and I should always be doing something noteworthy. It may even be something as small as making someone's day by putting a smile on their face, or finding a new trail to explore.
